I think I know a thing or two about the demographics up here. Half the population lives within 50 miles of Portland, full of Massholes and other big city refugees, which is RAT to the bone. CD2 is the Second Maine.
The RAT CD1 controls the state, dominates the State House and essentially all of the executive branch bureaucRATs, lifers...janitors etc. It's been that way for over 50 years.
