I'm with you, we had milk with cream on top. We churned our own butter, and farm food was delicious. You can't find good tomatoes, and eggs in a grocery store like what I had growing up. Skim milk is for girls, not for men. I was blessed by GOD to go to school in SE Louisiana, all the cooks were old Cajun or Creole women, I ate like a king at school. Since I always said please and thank you, and praised their cooking I always got extra food. My Marine son recently commented on how fit I was for my age, and I told him it is not what you eat, but how you eat.

Good genes are all you need.

A neighbor of mine growing up lost a leg in his late 20’s working for the railroad. So, he got little exercise. He smoked, drank and watched TV every day for most of the 40+ years I knew him. He lived to within a few months of his 100th birthday.

Every bit of his life style (food and exercise) was contrary to what the experts say keeps you healthy and gives a long life.

Sad thing is he outlived both of his sons and his wife by thirty years.

My kids in high school have sent me pictures of far worse. Last month they were served raw chicken. Gitmo scum eat better than our school kids thanks to the Mooch and the US government.
