Really scary that entrenched government entities would take on a fairly elected president to try to destroy him.
They did it to Kennedy and did it to Nixon. Remember, after Hoover's death, Nixon intended to reign in the FBI. Mark Felt, Associate Director of the FBI, did not like this. Hoover died on May 2, 1972. The Watergate break-in occurred on June 17, 1972. Nixon did not know about the break in.
Felt force fed information to Woodward and Bernstein (he was the "deep throat" that gave them all their information.) Woodward and Bernstein were NOT great reporters. They were mouthpieces for the deep state. Nixon resigned over the cover up, and the FBI continued. Considering that Manafort was most likely planted in the Trump campaign to create a crime that could be traced back to Trump, I've often wondered if they didn't do the same thing to Nixon.
No matter what though, never forget that Nixon getting shafted was not because of great investigation by reporters. It was the deep state going after Nixon.
Almost as scary as both parties colluding to put an ineligible usurper in office so they can run other ineligible candidates.
We're in very scary territory here. A de facto attempt at a coup of a duly elected President. The deep state/Hillary/Obama communist shadow government has taken over and they no doubt are trying to impeach Trump. All Americans, regardless of political party, should be concerned about this.
They have Trump's hands tied. The Republican Congress and President Trump couldn't even get Obamacare repeal and replace passed. Will it take a countercoup to reestablish our Sacred Republic? Fire and replace all government workers in D.C.? What is it going to take short of an armed revolution? Jeff Sessions and Trump have to act soon. It feels like they have a short window of opportunity.
As a sidebar, Newt pointed out last night that if Hillary would have won, all of the corruption, cronyism, unethical, immoral and communist tactics including weaponizing the IC and the IRS against political opponents would have continued unabated and none of us would know anything about it. I just shudder every time I think of how close we came to her getting elected. Thank God for Trump!
Attempting to nullify the 2016 Presidential election results, because they didn't like the outcome, is a pretty major big time deal.
