America's friends and foes unleashed fierce criticism on Wednesday ahead of President Donald Trump's announcement recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
While Israel welcomed the news, Palestinian officials declared the Mideast peace process "finished" and Turkey announced it would host a meeting of Islamic nations next week to give Muslim countries' leaders an opportunity to coordinate a response.
The harsh global reaction cast questions about the feasibility of a brewing U.S. peace plan that is expected to be presented by the White House in the near future.
The Palestinians seek east Jerusalem as the capital of a future independent state and fear that Trump's declaration essentially imposes on them a disastrous solution for one of the core issues in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
"There is no way that there can be talks with the Americans. The peace process is finished. They have already pre-empted the outcome," said Palestinian official Hanan Ashrawi. "They cannot take us for granted."

Agreed. As far as the Pali’s go, it was never theirs to start with. And it’s been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, that no matter what you gave em, they’d still never be satisfied until every Jew was driven into the sea. So IF they want to rumble over it, lets’ rumble and get it over with...once and for all. As far as the rest of the muzzle world is concerned, well, they can go pack sand up a camel’s azz.

Since 1995, US law has recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Clinton never vetoed Congress’ bill. No President ever followed the law till now.
The only peace in the middle east, the entire middle east, is the peace within Israel’s well-guarded borders. Once you get that clear in your mind, the path forward becomes obvious.
President Trump will make the announcement recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital at the appropriate time, when the maximum number of lying, murdering, traitorous, Demonicrat and leftist media heads will explode and the RINOcrats will soil their panties.
Face it. There will be violence. Pity any Americans who find themselves in Muslim lands. Muslims are bewildered and frustrated as they have witnessed their culture discombobulate and crumble before the challenge of the values, practices and institutions of Western modernity. It is a challenge they cannot avoid and they cannot win. Their culture, wherever viewed, is racked with instability and violence. They of course have focused that rage on Isreal for many reasons. The Muslims call the founding of modern Israel as “the catastophre”. They also view US support for Israel to be at the core of their misery. This will be a huge event.
And the most ironic thing is that Arab/muslim citizens of Israel are the most successful and prosperous Arabs in the ME.

The "Palestinians" have been handed peace on a platter time and time again over the decades and have consistently and routinely rejected it, yet they continue to play the fools who want so desperately to believe what they KNOW is a lie.
These same pro-Palestinians are the same sort of people who supported Hitler or joined the German-American Bund in the 30s and 40s

Two things:
1) Peace is not a “process.” You either have it, or you don’t. ...and this so-called “Peace Process” has been going on without useful fruit for decades. It’s a bogus concept.
2) The “Arab Street” is already pretty continuously angry. At this point, could they possibly be more offended than they already are?

I am tired of those who ask us to live in a fantasy world. Israel is a country. They call their capital Jerusalem. To ask us to ignore that is ridiculous. Just as ridiculous as asking us to confuse sexual preference with gender, or that a few more parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere will catastrophically alter global climate.
