He’s going to pull a Kennedy-Wiener, and announce a stint in rehab?

Either way its good, but its better if he doesn’t resign. That would just keep this story front and center in the media.

The US body politic is well shot of Franken and his bitchy snarky ‘questions’ that were actually little speeches mostly written by his bitchy, snarly little snowflake staffers. After all, Franken had other things on his mind and in his wandering hands.

Franken was a favorite of bitchy, snarky little social media posters who regarded him as the second coming of Jefferson as he ‘nailed’ this or that GOP figure giving testimony.

Speaking of testimony, it is appalling that Congressional hearing rooms are constantly busy while the wells of both houses are usually empty. Lawfare is a poor substitute for debate and up or down votes.

Given the DEMs have a Muslim lined up to take his spot, I’m fine with Franken staying put. It’s another sore spot for the DEMs. Because of Trump, the DEMs have no desire to move back toward the center. If anything, they’re going to triple down on a progressive/socialist message.

Honestly I have no sympathy for Franken, and would prefer that he left. He is a detestable excuse for humanity and the idea that this POS is still disgracing the Senate does not speak well of any of them.

As tempting as it is to see him stay, I say good riddance. Let him leave in disgrace.

Leave the ass-hat in there so whenever he gets in front of a camera to pontificate about the deplorables, we can laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh, etc.

Yes, as are most of us. Stick with it, Senator Franken!

Too late, Al - now that it looks like Moore is going to win next week, you gotta go so the Dems can make a belated example out of you.

Oh he will resign.
I expect him to shortly receive an offer that he can't refuse (and possibly a horse's head in his bed).

The Democrats need him to resign so they can pretend that they have some semblance of scruples (just ignore the closet full of slime associated with their other members).

Me too. But he will. The party wants him out to clear the way to bash Moore and to get the first muzzie senator appointed.

My hope is he’ll screw the Democrats by trying to run for reelection when his term is up.

And I'll have 500 hand-written absentee ballots in my trunk to push him over the election.

This is all about the Dems setting the stage for demanding that Trump resign because of his locker room talk and the parade of 16 women who came forward during the campaign claiming sexual misconduct by him. The Dems are willing to sacrifice Conyers and Franken to get Trump.
