These public sessions are wonderful opportunities for Congressment to grandstand, but they know full well the FBI director and AG are never going to tell them anything about any ongoing investigations or anything involving classified information, sources and methods, etc.
If they did they’d deserve to be fired on the spot.

In all seriousness as someone who doesn’t fully understand the process, what is Gowdy allowed to do? I see a lot about him being worthless but was is he actually able to do?
House committee’s can issue subpoens to the other branches.
I think he now heads the Oversight committee.
The mockery of this is video is absurd. This Gowdy inquiry of AG Comey is explosive.
I got to see Comey squirm and divert and I learned how an honest investigation can begin, where to start and who to start with.
If this video isn’t a tutorial, nothing is, but one thing is it’s no comedy.
I remember it now, and watched it. Fast forward to today and we know now that Comey leaked to his pal to get a Special Prosecutor hired, to jail Trump as the outcome.
That is just the beginning. Now we can look harder at Sally Yates and her 4 Doors Down pal, Orh. What was Strozk and his girlfriend up to about that time, I wonder.
Justice and FBI can crater on this path Gowdy just laid out.
Judge Who Presided Over Michael Flynn’s Case and Recused Himself — ALSO SITS ON FISA COURT!
Not sure of important details.....maybe he decided he wanted off the FISA Court.
Gowdy did a good job on his examination of Comey and laid out grounds of lying to the committee when HRC testified. What has Gowdy done with this? Answer is nothing. He’s all talk and no walk.
I would guess this judge had to recuse himself. After all, in Flynn’s defense his lawyers may well bring in court the fact that the FISA court warrant was granted on the basis of a bad FBI application.
The FBI punked this judge with a trash document that was nothing but Hillary’s gummed up and nasty piece of dirty work, called opposition research.
The judge could not preside over the Flynn case. I hope the FBI loses this case BIGLY, against Flynn.
