It's that time of year again! As a Navy fan Army was fantastic last year and seems to be a slight favorite tomorrow.
Go Navy, Beat Army!
Beat ARMY!
(I say this as a one who has grads from both Navy and Army in my fam.)
BTW, even as a Navy fan, I happened to sit w Army in the icy stadium last year when Army won.
I could not have been happier, Army played quite well, and deserved the win.
We are all (when considered carefully) on the same side.
.
Go NAVY!
Go Navy! Beat Army!
We’ll likely take it this year.
USNA ‘89 always doing fine.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me too!
I read both teams are wearing special uniforms this year. Army is wearing a uniform honoring the 10th Mountain Division which is close to my heart here in Colorado as members of that division founded Vail. Navy's uniforms with honor the Blue Angels flight demonstration team. Both should be beautiful! Watching the traditions of marching onto the field with your platoon, push ups for scores, the singing at the end, are just marvelous for me. I am so proud of those kids!
My son just joined the nuclear navy as an officer, reports January 15th. Go Navy!
BEAT navy!!!!!!!!! GO ARMY!!!!!
Its good to have a dream LMBO!!!!!!!
GO NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FLY NAVY!
BEAT ARMY!
I’m a retired Naval Aviator; Mrs. Taxman is a retired Army Nurse.
Army Navy Saturday is always fun at our house!
As am I , my good FRiend.
Seeing the Army cadets (and grads) swarm the field after the game was a memory picture; and, just like Army in previous years, Navy was magnanimous in defeat, and showed respect and camaraderie in defeat.
Proud as a peach?
You betcha!
.
GO NAVY!
I grew up in New York. My cousin was a Pointie and I served in the Army.
GO ARMY!
That game in 1890 was a rugby match, not American Football.
Winner gets the Commander-In-Chief Trophy as both defeated Air Force this year. Army last won that in 1996 so it is time for them!
GO ARMY! Beat Navy!
FYI: The March-on is televised on CBS Sports cable channel starting at Noon.

Army-Navy is always a highlight on any college football season. But 73 years ago, it was a match-up of the two best teams in college football, including an Army squad that was one for the ages:

Interesting that Earl Blaik was Army’s first “civilian” head coach, returning to West Point more than 20 years after he left the service. The Navy team in 1944 was coached by Commander Oscar Hagberg; just a few months earlier, he had commanded the submarine Albacore on combat patrols in the Pacific.
As a retired Air Force officer (commissioned through OTS, not AFA) the best Army-Navy games come after Air Force has beaten both. Unfortunately, the Falcons lost to both Army and Navy this year, so I’ll probably be cheering that the Black Knights can make it two in a row.
Well said, my FRiend!
