Muslim students who knew they were enrolling into a Catholic university are now expressing dismay that come Christmas time, the campus is decorated for the holiday season.

Because it is an attack on our system USING our laws. Our laws need to change to consider Islam NOT being a religion. Not holding my breath.

Wow as a 40 yr. duration university professor here’s a clue for the students...pick a university that aligns with your priorities. It is like not going to a university that emphasizes mainly humanities and business when your priority is preparation for a bench research career in science. They chose poorly. They can transfer to a university with Islamic in their name knowing their main priority will be met.
I think Ramadan gets a lot of attention, especially the head cutting off ceremonies.
I think Christmas and all the trappings are a threat to them. Living in a free country with the celebration of the birth of Jesus, including overwhelmingly happy greetings, and generosity all around us - what’s not to like - and what is more of an antithesis to Islam?
Horrors! It just might encourage their young folks to research who Jesus was, and why Christians show such love for others.
It’s the camel’s nose under the tent. You deliberately attend a CATHOLIC university, then complain it’s too Catholic? Don’t like it, poor little Muzzlimes? Then DROP DEAD.
