If Roy Moore loses and he is no longer an impediment to harassing Moore, he will most likely renege and hope the whole thing blows over. The problem with being a major league hypocrite is that sooner or later someone calls you out on it.
Oh I would agree with that and I even think that some lobbyists in Minn have already lined up their guy (probably two months ago) to be the replacement person. My bet is on the governor appointing either himself (he’s 70 years old), or his Lt Governor (Tina Smith).
I noticed regional newspapers that some folks think Tina Smith gets the job as a caretaker and doesn’t run in the senate election when it comes up (leaving this to someone else). My guess is that she’d come back to Minn, and run for governor in 2019.

I hope you’re right (tho I don’t believe you are) because a crippled Franken will turn that Senate seat red in 2020. His numbers are at already at rock bottom and Minnesotans just aren’t all much for drama anyway.
Hard to believe Minnesotans want a man who feels up women when they’re sleeping.
It’s too creepy... like sexually abusing a women when she’s had too much to drink... or taking pictures up a women’s skirt.
Really creepy stuff.
Oh, I know. I’ve said that Franken’s signal to depart had the unspoken contingency that Moore would not be seated. And perhaps not even then.
If Moore wins his seat, it wouldn’t surprise me if Franken gives a fiery speech, withdraws his resignation, and liberals everywhere rejoice over it—including feminists who crusade against the kind of harassment we have solid proof of Franken engaging in.
