Neither do I, Louie. I’d take issue with the writer about the American people wanting their legislators to “do things that benefit them.” There are few win-win situations when writing legislation so if somebody benefits that means somebody else lost something. I’d say more Americans would be satisfied if their elected representatives just shut up, legislated minimally, and got the military funded to ensure national security.
