CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta said reporters must change the way they have traditionally done their jobs in order to effectively cover President Trump.

In an interview Tuesday on radio host Hugh Hewitt's show, Acosta defended his often confrontational approach to questioning White House officials.

I doubt it. We're pushing our luck if we think THEY can.

How many morons does it take to change a light-bulb?

How many morons does it take to overturn an election?

New strategy Jimmy, find a new line of work because you are failing at this one.

Jim. Here's the thing. You're a journalism major, or something along those lines. Definitely not the most difficult pursuit intellectually, but important - as all jobs are - if you do them right. You are not more important than a plumber, a garbage collector, or anyone else in society. You, and your ilk think you are really, really, really important. That's why you can't do your job correctly. With your particular skill set, let's face it, it would be easier to take someone off the street and have them ‘report’ the copy that someone else gives them than it would be for you to go into someones home to wire their electrical system, or redo their plumbing. You're just not that special. Get over yourself, and do your job.

Maybe they can try something that used to be called “journalism”. While the profession has had many ups and downs, there are good “playbooks” in the form of textbooks and professional ethics manuals - focus on the ones from the “up” periods of the profession.

Depends on what their goal is. My guess is “journalism” by the academic definition wosn’t accomplish what they want.

How about the playbook where the media is honest with their viewers rather than being lying Leftwing political hacks out to manipulate their viewers?

The Jim Acosta’s of the world are befuddled. They never had an opponent who punches back. Sure, Ronald Reagan for the most part out started them by going over them and communicating directly to the American people.

Trump via Twitter communicates directly to the people but he also punches directly back at the media and anyone else who takes shots at him. The media is shocked that anyone would stand up to them.

They really do not know what to do. Silver lining for the media. Trump is good copy and brings in billions to the networks at the same time their liberal bias is exposed and credibility is shredded.

It’s beyond me why they don’t go back to closing the press conferences to the public.

Acosta Thought: “If I shout out just the right and most clever question, I will be a hero to reporters everywhere.”

How about they try straight reporting, getting the facts right, before publishing?

The media and other democrats are all upset that President Trump doesn’t just curl up and let them attack him 24/7 without resonding like G.W. Bush did.

What a failure. How about being objective, clown? Ever think of that tactic?

You smug punks thought you’d run him out of the nomination.
Then you thought you’d run him out of the general election.
Then you thought you’d defeat him in the general election.
Then you thought you’d get him with Russia.
Now you think you’ll get him with “harassment”.

Stop being partisan hacks.

That is a solution.

...if you look at the coverage at CNN on a daily basis, it is very fair, but it is also, it is very tough," Acosta said on Hewitt's show. "And it is because, in part, we have a president that we’re covering these days who is very tough on us."

Maybe if CNN hadn't spent every day kissing Bill Clinton's butt and Obama's butt those people would have been tough on them too. And 'fair'? LOL - That term would NEVER apply to CNN. CNN's part of the thug arm of the democrat party.

Sarah Sanders punches the crap out of the MSM every single day. It is the best show on television. She respectfully listens to the biased questions, exposes their deceit, corrects them and then answers with full-throated honesty. She then pivots and punches right back. It infuriates the MSM.

It’s beautiful. The greatest show on earth. Never, ever cancel White House briefings as long as Sarah is still breathing. Cheers.
