Yeah, like “Louie,Louie” being Ohio’s state song! But I imagine Alabama has had it’s song for a long time and it’s hard to give up old traditions.
“Beautiful Ohio” is the Ohio State Song.
“Hang on Sloopy” is the Ohio State Rock Song.
Driving into Alabama on the freeways, all of the welcome signs already have it on them.
