My initial thought was this was aimed at the Clintons, first and foremost. A lot of people were PO’d she stole the nomination from Bernie and then went on to lose the election. There is a battle for control of the DNC. Getting President Trump was a secondary objective. So far the biggest impact has been the collateral damage inflicted, mostly on Dems. Play with fire, get burned.

Trump defended Clinton during his scandals and attacked Republicans. He had Bill and Hillary come to his third wedding. He turned on them when he ran for president and even invited Bill’s victims to one of the Hillary/Trump debates. So it seems to me it’s all part and parcel in the same clique.
