I believe you, however I don’t think you would allow yourself to get into a position where POTUS would need to save you.
I had a co-worker once that asked me if there was a 6 year old that had evidence that would put me in prison would I kill him?
I simply replied that I would never allow myself to get into such a situation.
He was insistent that I give him a reply. I stated, categorically that such a situation would never occur.
A few years later I was testifying in Federal Court, subpoenaed by the FBI, at his sentencing trial.
He got 18 months in Leavenworth.
