President Trump's son Eric Trump on Wednesday dismissed calls by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) for his father to step down from office in the face of sexual misconduct allegations, waving her off as a "distraction" from policy priorities.
"I remember Kirsten Gillibrand when she came into his office every three days to ask him for money and ask for major campaign contributions," Eric Trump told WABC radio's Rita Cosby. "There is no one who wanted to get into his office more than Kirsten Gillibrand."
"Its amazing how convenient it is that hes doing incredibly well there a minute away from finalizing, maybe the most historic tax cut to our nation and here she is," he added. "She follows the whole Schumer playbook. Again, its a shame, but its a distraction. I think weve gotten pretty good at tuning out distractions."
The younger Trump's comments came after the president lashed out at Gillibrand on Twitter Tuesday, calling her a "lightweight" and a "total flunky," who would "do anything for" him to donate to her campaign.
Trump has faced increased scrutiny in recent days after three women renewed allegations of sexual harassment and assault against the president.
The women had all previously accused Trump of sexual misconduct. But the renewed accusations come as multiple men in politics, media, business and entertainment face increased scrutiny for alleged misconduct.
Gillibrand has been among the most vocal advocates in Congress for crackdowns on sexual harassment, and has said that Trump should resign in the face of the allegations against him.
bump
And Gillibrand response ?
Probably Trump’s office kept a detailed log of visitors to his office. It would be interesting if he released that, showing the names of the whores who came to beg for political contributions. We know about Clinton(s), Gillibrand and Romney. Expect Schumer is right up there, too.
And here is the proof that this was a concerted effort from the first #metoo:
“But the renewed accusations come as multiple men in politics, media, business and entertainment face increased scrutiny for alleged misconduct.”
‘Every three days, asking for money’ Kristen really shouldn’t prostitute herself like that.
The seriousness of the charge mandates that we investigate this.
Even though there is no evidence, the seriousness of the charge is what matters.
-- Tom Foley (1929-2013) former Democrat Speaker Of The House
Please,please,please—let there be visitor logs......
Has she returned this guy's donation yet...?
Anyone can be accused of prostitution; it is so much easier when the accused is a politician. They already whore for other favors...
All of them.
If Gillibrand and Warren are so interested in the sexual harassment issue, why aren’t they demanding that a list of those on whose behalf the taxpayer paid settlements to those claiming to have been sexually harassed? My guess is that they know that the list contains the names of far more dems than republicans, and they want to keep that hidden so that the dems can continue the charade of being the party of women.
A sign in (or an appointment calendar) sure makes sense....it’s not like people can just go to Trump’s Office.
That's right! Mere allegations require everyone to step down these days!
I was sexually assaulted by Gillibrand. She must step down immediately.
:)
Gillibrand grabbed my “Stuff” while we were riding on the Subway... she must step down !!!!!
yep!
Gillibrand harassed me and tried to French kiss me, several times. Many other anonymous collegues of mine was harassed the same way by her. She must resign.
Gilleland slept around to get to where she is and is now crying foul.
From what I know about extremely wealthy people, Donald Trump not only has logs showing her visits, I would bet my last nickel it was ALL Recorded.
