That’s life. There are always unanswered questions, and closure is a myth spawned by the grief industry. Here’s everything they need to know: they survived, enjoy every sandwich.
If the case is effectively closed (because allegedly one man, now deceased, committed the crime), then why isn’t all the evidence gathered (to include the casino video tapes) made public?
All such evidence is public property, and the public has a right to see all of it.

If the FBI/DOJ is involved there is nothing.
Are you assuming this or did the autopsy/medical history confirm it?
And even if he were mentally ill, the suspect would still have a motive, even if it was falsely perceived.
