Let them. It will become the state of Movie Stars, retired sports stars and servants.

This is the number 1 reason why I hope the coming tax bill excludes state income tax deductions and 2nd homes. It forces all to pay for the bad habits of a few States.

This is how Democrats think. The State of Calif has billions in unfunded pension retirement liabilities, which they can’t pay, yet they want to spend more money they don’[t have on illegals. Yup, when they say liberalism is a mental disease, this is a good example.

Where’s the fun in hunting CA hippies? It’s as unchallenging and dull as hunting sloth! But if you take away their bongs and hop them up on coke instead, now that would be more challenging and fun! :)

Great to see you here again, bagster, my fun happy-warrior FRiend!

“No wonder they’re pushing a new “mileage tax” on top of the just implemented new per gallon gasoline tax hike.”

It will never be used to build a road. They will tell the taxpayers they are lockboxing it and in year two it will go into the general fund. Then five years from now they will say there is no money to fix the roads.

Where have we heard this before?

Awwww, thanks Vision Thang.

You're one of my faves.

I still think hippie scalps would look good hanging from my teepee. After I sent 'em to the dry cleaners like seven times. Those hippies are FILTHY!!

LOL, sadly that’s right on target.

Sad in that we should ever have sunk this low.

"The hippies that inhabit and control the state, on the other hand, is what I actually hate. If somebody would put a bounty on hippies that would fix everything."

No go.

It was supposed to be an image of Cartman saying “God Damn Hippies.”

I’ll have to work on my pics.

From the article link in Sacbee:

“That’s because the state depends on income taxes for 70 percent of its general fund revenues and the top 1 percent of taxpayers account for half of those income taxes.”

Testimony for the extraordinary wealth in this state. Even many over $120k pay a pittance in state income tax. They have pushed the income tax so high up the income ladder that the top 1% pay over 1/2 of the tax. The bottom 60% pay NOTHING.

And that’s with a $180bil budget.

“Tax Reform” being advocated is to broaden the tax base. But, the Bee does not propose to do that in a conventional way...but raising rates at lower incomes.

They propose to effect a Capital Gains Tax. There’s some debate on whether that tax should be limited to realized gains, or if they will tax paper gains.

No sh!t. Paper gains.

Oh, and the budget is projected to have a $19bil surplus. Democrats have already penciled in spending for $20bil. $5bil of that for healthcare for illegals.

If you sourced your image from Google, or any of the large search engines, that might be the problem.

They’ve done something to the code, so that you can’t copy and paste them into other websites.

You can often find the source of the omage and copy it there. Normally, there’s no code embedded to prevent you posting it elsewhere.

” I don’t want to subsidize such abject stupidity with my tax dollars.”

You don’t and won’t.

There’s enough stupidity and money here that they don’t have to import any.
