No wonder they’re pushing a new “mileage tax” on top of the just implemented new per gallon gasoline tax hike.

They need the citizens to fund one more Leftist pie in the sky boondoggle.

“California’s state budget seems healthy, but it isn’t. Brown should spend some political capital on tax reform”

...The proposal would eliminate legal residency requirements in California’s Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal, as the state has already done for young people up to age 19...

I live in Virginia so I don't even legally reside in California, I wonder if I would be eligible?

California democrats won’t be happy until they run every last middle class American out of the state.

Glad I got out twelve years ago. The place is practically intolerable now.

“California, flush with cash from an expanding economy”

And this is what they were telling us about the Soviet Union back in about 1985, lol.

Let them. It will become the state of Movie Stars, retired sports stars and servants.

This is the number 1 reason why I hope the coming tax bill excludes state income tax deductions and 2nd homes. It forces all to pay for the bad habits of a few States.

This is how Democrats think. The State of Calif has billions in unfunded pension retirement liabilities, which they can’t pay, yet they want to spend more money they don’[t have on illegals. Yup, when they say liberalism is a mental disease, this is a good example.

How about putting it towards the 150 billion pension debt?
