'Super Size Me' filmmaker admits to sexual misconduct

The filmmaker behind "Super Size Me" has admitted to sexual misconduct in a confession titled "I am part of the problem."

The confession, which Morgan Spurlock published to his social media accounts, details episodes that started in college but extend into his professional career.

"I've come to understand after months of these revelations, that I am not some innocent bystander, I am also a part of the problem," he wrote, referencing the recent wave of sexual misconduct allegations against prominent men.

"If I'm going [to] truly represent myself as someone who has built a career on finding the truth, then it's time for me to be truthful as well," he said.

Spurlock's publicist confirmed the authenticity of the post to CNN.

Spurlock is stepping down effective immediately as CEO of his production company, Warrior Poets, according to a note from his partners at the company, Jeremy Chilnick and Matthew Galkin, that was obtained by CNN.

Spurlock said in his confession that he called a former female assistant "hot pants" or "sex pants" in the office, only realizing it was degrading when she came to him asking for a "settlement."

"I paid for peace of mind," he wrote. "I paid for her silence and cooperation. Most of all, I paid so I could remain who I was."

He also described a sexual encounter with a woman in college who later accused him of rape. He had considered the sex to be consensual.

Spurlock said he "didn't know what to do" when the woman started to cry during sex. She had said earlier in the night, before they took off their clothes, that she did not want to have sex.

"We stopped having sex and I rolled beside her," Spurlock wrote

NOT GUILTY: A MOVIE ABOUT SEX---by Morgan Spurlock

SCENE ONE Spurlock describes a sexual encounter with a woman in college. She said earlier, before they took off their clothes, that she did not want to have sex. She later accused him of rape. He had considered the sex to be consensual. Spurlock said he "didn't know what to do" when the woman started to cry during sex. She had said earlier in the night, before they took off their clothes, that she did not want to have sex. "We stopped having sex and I rolled beside her," Spurlock wrote.

Spurlock emailed Harvey in rehab to suggest some young nubile females to co-star.

My daughter developed an eating disorder in high-school because her liberal moonbat health teacher made the class watch Super Size Me.

First, I hope your daughter is okay now.

Second, teachers should stick to the three R's and step away from the propaganda and liberal agenda.

Again, hope your daughter is doing well now. My sister was anorexic and bulimic (trying to stay thin to be a cheerleader in high school). High schoolers, girls and boys, are susceptible to body image problems/fears.

I, OTOH, was perfectly content to sit in bed, read books and eat chocolate. LOL!

I think you just described about 95% of American teenage boys.

Well, I think I just described 97% of American men who have, at any time in their life, been in their teens.

The other three percent are homosexual, which brings up different issues.

LOL!

You are reminding me of an episode of Seinfeld, I think; someone sends someone a gadget from The Sharper Image or one of those stores; it's called a GayDar. It's magnetic, to detect coins, but the character passes it up and down his body and it begins to beep near his personal area, because of his belt buckle.

I apologize for the lack of specifics but it has been a long time and maybe it was some other show. The shows I watch are Friends and Seinfeld, so I am guessing the latter.

Maybe some other smarter FReeper can clarify things. :) In any case, it was pretty funny!

Yes my daughter is now an adult, married, and doing quite well.

At the time she not only became afraid to eat McDonalds, she was afraid to eat any restaurant food, school lunches, or even anything we had at home which contained any sort of meat.

I really wanted to throttle that teacher, but I don’t go around assaulting women. Stupid idiot didn’t realize the effect that was likely to have on teen girls.

This tactic might work for most of those Lockstep Lefties who haven’t been persecuted yet. Admit you’re a problem, so nobody has to go public and say you are... The Left is looking for a way that only they can forgive and use. If any Right leaning types try this, they will be destroyed.

I am very happy to hear your daughter is doing well. Please give her a hug on behalf of the community of FReepers. :)

I really bet you wanted to ... do something to that teacher. That is how I would feel if anyone made my now 18 year old daughter feel bad about herself. I won’t go into the 2nd Amendment...but parents can be quite protective of their children. ;)

All the best to you and yours,

Julie
