I tell you, generally speaking Mexicans are notorious drunks. I guess it’s their culture. Just like Somalis love their khat, Mexicans love their hooch. I was born and raised in Southern California, and I saw it first hand.
Sad but true. They are either all in or total abstinence (the smart ones). My experience is that the ones who do not wish to assimilate drink like fish (borachos)

We’re SoCal escapees, too (2015). Perfectly normal to see them driving cars while swilling out of paper bags at any hour of the day or night.
