Those who are still predicting that Donald Trump will be impeached and removed from office are now like exotic and endangered creatures. It is like an absurdly slow dance, in which the steps are so infrequent and tentative that it is hard to remember how far participants have come since the music started. Two years ago, virtually the entire commentariat, and most of its readers and listeners, were splitting their sides at the gigantic impending farce of the Trump candidacy for the Republican nomination. Eighteen months ago, those same people had almost entirely shifted their immense mirth to the mighty Hillary Clinton avalanche that was already starting to rumble down whatever it was that President Obama renamed Mount McKinley. The BBC was asking itself (i.e., its viewers, including any Americans watching its World Service) whether Trump was going to pull out then, to avoid the unprecedented thrashing he was about to receive at the polls (which none of the polls, even the more rabidly anti-Trump polls, then predicted). Wacky leftist filmmaker Michael Moore, with the unshakeable confidence in mind-reading that seems never to desert such people, announced that Trump would quit because he never wanted or expected to be nominated, and it was all a joke that had got out of hand.
These were not unrepresentative opinions. Trump was attacking the entire political establishment, the whole Washington sleaze factory, all factions of both parties, all the Bushes, Clintons, and Obama, the national media, the lobbyists, Wall Street, Hollywood, and the limousine Left from the Hamptons to Silicon Valley. Of course the Trump campaign was insane and impossible, and was doomed to be a ludicrous fiasco, a gigantic, comical clown act that misfired horribly.

And technically, there is still another whole month to his first year.
But our friends on the left probably aren't done yet.
The ongoing sex scandals are aimed squarely at President Trump.
The women are already bought, paid for, have their scripts
memorized and the stage is being set. The back drop of prominent
Democrats falling on their swords gives an air of legitimacy to
the current witch hunt. The women will “come forward" and it will
be a national spectacle. The people watching the news will have
by that time become very accustomed to men having their careers
destroyed by mere accusations. Hearings and other forms of due
process are being tossed aside in favor of the notion that accusers
of sexual misconduct don't lie. It's going to get very ugly.

Those that wage war against President Trump have been exposed to not being above fabricating evidence and lying.
Attempting to use unprovable allegations against President Trump will not work. Impeachment is a political process not a legal one. Even after a year of 24/7 anti Trump propaganda against President Trump, his base still stands with him.
The left has not been able to separate the President from his supporters, and as long as he has support he is untouchable.
Nixon’s “crimes” were small compared to Clinton’s crimes. The results were different when each was impeached (in Nixon’s case threaten with impeachment). The media was able to erode Nixon’s support while the media defended Clinton.
It is the economy stupid was the phrase used back then and it is true today. For too long we have been told that we would have to get used to low growth and high unemployment.
Yet look what Trump has managed in a hostile environment in just one year. Our greatest enemy is the Government. Over regulation, high taxes and it’s hostility towards business created low growth.
Allow businesses to do business with a chance of making a profit and who knows just how fast our economy will grow.
And the left wants to impeach the one President that understands this? Lots of luck with that one.

Nothing exotic about them. They are stone cold Alinsky toting liberal fascists of the first order , who have managed to traduce both the DOJ and the FBI.
Endangered? ( yup! they should be!)
However these liberal fascists indeed are endangered. As pestilence they need to be eradicated from the face of the earth because they have failed to uphold their sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies , foreign and domestic. They ARE the enemies.

Nixon was (R), Clinton is (D). The media is (D).
IMHO this is the real difference. But, even as a staunch conservative, I can tell you that Nixon's crimes were huge compared to Clinton's.
Clinton's crimes were personal conduct crimes, but the media covered for him and smothered the accusations. Nixon had both the very real crimes of Watergate and the political crime of claiming a "secret plan" to end the Vietnam war which was actually no plan at all. Thousands of young men died, tens of thousands came back maimed and hundreds of thousands had psychological scars that will never heal. Clinton's rapes may have gotten up to dozens, but Nixon's crimes were a hundred times greater.
As far as the economy goes, remember well the fact that every reporter and leftist TV newsie or commentator has a nice fat job and is not going to feel the results of making America great. The drumbeat of negativity will continue.
What is going to make DJT one of the greatest Presidents of all time is the fact that the people will feel the results of MAGA. It is hard to convince anyone that the world is going to hell when they have lots of cash in their pocket.
He has another 6-8 months to get the economy going before the mid-term campaigns start in earnest. When he pulls this off, we will win an improbable mid-term gain if the people vote their pocketbooks and ignore the media. 2 years of economic gains after that and a second term is assured.
But, the hostility of the media will never cease.
Donald Trump was a joke until nominated, unelectable until elected, incompetent until he succeeded on most fronts, and about to be impeached until he debunked the collusion nonsense; he has had a very successful year. His enemies have been weighed in the balance and they have been found wanting. They shall have their reward. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all readers, especially the president and Mrs. Trump.
Trump’s first year is ending on a good note. With this momentum they should cycle back and cut some sort of deal on ObamaCare in 2018.
With all the crap the demodummies have pulled, the dirty politics, you name it they used against trump, he is STILL coming out on top. Not going to be a “Merry Christmas” if you are a demodummie.
There is someone watching over this man. He is been on the battlefield for almost a year...and not one scratch!
It is time to move on to the serious draining of the swamp. Time for Sessions to get off his butt and get grand juries cracking. Time for people to go to jail.
Seriously! We live in a country whose main police authority (FBI) conspired to dictate who our president should be. How is that OK with the people of America?
