It sets it to $0. The individual mandate is still in effect, just with no penalty.

Bastards. They've created a back door route for a future Congress to resurrect the beast.

We shall see if removing this linchpin actually destroys ObamaCare. I'm not convinced that it will.

Doesn’t that seem to leave it as a “placeholder” for future use, no?

I suppose that’s the most they could do in order to get the whole thing passed?
