I’ve been trying to tell people that for years. It was the largest welfare increase since the 60s. If the government was serious about helping people with their healthcare all they had to do was allow the deduction of all expenses, or better yet, allow tax credits. But, the goal was and is for the DC lawyers and politicians to takeover a huge industry and use the money for their benefit and the benefit of welfare voters.

The government didn't have to do anything. The majority of the sign ups were existing Medicaid folks who went to emergency rooms just like you or I would and got signed up with Medicaid.

Obamacare was just a mass sign up....and another money grab from WORKING FOLKS.

Some things still to be done are employer mandate...revise it BACK to 40 hours as a normal work week and 100 employees which is what it originally was.
