If the Rats were to get majorities in both houses then impeachment (and conviction) don’t really need to rest on any genuine crimes. They can make anything they wish a crime.

As far as I know, they could make having a comb over a crime and were the Senate to vote to convict, there is no *legal* Constitutional recourse.

Any FR lawyers have an opinion on that?

I thought House lost impeachment vote two weeks ago? Where is pro0f there is another vote coming?
