What I expect to happen is that the not so little town just south of Charlotte will be filled with fresh mini-Charlotteans.

My Mom flipped out when Weiker proposed the income tax as being more fair, and would keep the sales tax low. She correctly predicted the demise of the once great state. He came to my office to campaign when he was running for reelection as Senator, and seemed like a real slimy POS. I fled West a few years later, and never looked back.
If the income tax had been eliminated, certainly the economic situation there would be better, too bad so many of has were forced to vote with our feet....

Could be, I have no idea. But the fact remains, according the article, the state population increased by 300,000.
