Well, our lake effect snow comes from Lake Ontario, and it rarely freezes over, areas east of Lake Ontario in upstate New York average over 100 inches of snow per year.
The long term forecasts for the Eastern US (6-10 days and 8-14 days) say cold, cold, cold...
I am waiting for Trump to tweet something in a few days to the effect that he’s glad he’s back in DC to personally experience some global warming. /s
That would be hilarious.
Stay warm and safe.
We get very cold here in Colorado but we don’t have the humidity you have.
We get some of the lake affect humidity but interesting is the jet stream often wobbles through here so you never know what you’re going to get, unless of course the jet stream takes a deep dive as it’s doing now with this cold spell.
....my place is cozy warm as I use two fin blade oil filled radiant heaters rather than the baseboard electic that’s here.......so the warmth is ‘consistent’ rather than clicking on and off.
