The queen...

I remember a story, some years ago, where she was waiting for a limo to take her to the capitol, which was something like 2 or 3 blocks away. She was not going to be seen walking, because she thought it was undignified for someone of her stature to be seen walking anywhere.

She thinks of herself as a queen, but most people view her as the lowest form of life on the planet. Even maggots have more class than her.

As I recall the story she would sometimes (maybe regularly) keep the limo waiting there 45 minutes before coming out--while it was blocking a lane of traffic during the morning rush hour.

Of course since driving is never a hassle in Washington, no one minds...
