The multiple reload for the missiles is ingenious if it works. Our RIM is a one shot deal. Magazine gone, it is a deck ornament.

For many years I've always wondered how difficult it is to reload those missile tube in our navy VLS systems. They have to put into port to get reloaded but I read that some newer missiles are much smaller and they can load 4 into 1 tube to save space.

As for our aircraft carriers they only carry 2 weapon pods of 21 missiles each in the best configuration. I'd much prefer a bigger load of maybe 60-100 missiles per pod since you know that in a real shooting war the enemy would be sending salvoes at a time and not singles.

Sometimes I really wonder if the guys in the top brass really know what they are doing.
