There won’t be a war against Iran. Its economy and government are not sustainable. Despite its huge oil reserves, the majority of the population remains impoverished and the mullah regime will collapse. Of course the mullahs will squander even more resources buying weapon systems for its military and paying the thugs and goons in the revolutionary Guard. No need to invade or engage in war. Nor does Iran have the strength to go on a serious offensive.
We’ve been waiting for the Mullah regime to collapse for 37 years. They are not going to simply oblige us, so long as the IRGC remains strong and the people can’t fight back.
