ATLANTA -- Atlanta's mayor is promising a "safe, smooth and secure" college football championship game Monday, despite the traffic problems expected to be caused by President Donald Trump's motorcade, but none of the many agencies involved are taking any chances.

President Obama attending a sports game: the media will show him smiling, drinking a soft drink, taking a picture with a regular guy to make it appear that Obama is at home with the commoner.
President Trump attending a sports game: the media will show him with a grimace, surrounded by suits, making him appear aloof and disinterested, and then find a sports fan who will echo the agenda by saying “I paid a lot of money for a ticket to the game, got stuck in traffic, had to go through 45 minutes of security procedure and missed the first few plays all because of Trump.”
“I just know it will tweak the Left. Gotta love that.”
Most of the left won’t even know there is a game that night.
You just stated that exactly right! Trump will get blamed for what already exists and would happen no matter. I’ve learned Georgia fans are extremely loyal. Much like my former Nebraska in its football heyday.
Be interesting to see how reverance of his attendance compares to the Army-Navy game he attended last year.
Yep, I recall that. He said “Cominsky” park, with an “N” in it, even though every baseball fan, White Sox fan or not, would know they played at “Comiskey” Park, with no “N” in it.
That was funny, to think that he had trouble in casual conversation with the baseball broadcasters. They sure asked some tough questions, such as who his favorite player was........
And recall how he says “Pock-EE-Stonn”, instead of pronouncing it “Pack-i-stann” as most of us do. He insisted on calling ISIS, by the less known acronym ISIL. Only he and a few in his administration called them ISIL.
And he pronounced “Koran” with a distinctive Arabic inflection.
I think he called Kaminski Field.

The media and comedians could have had a lot of fun with things Obama said, but they chose never to go there.
