During an at times contentious exchange today on CNNs Reliable Sources, The Hollywood Reporter columnist Michael Wolff criticized host Brian Stelter over the style and approach Stelter has taken of late on his program.
Wolff came on to essentially make the case that the media as a whole has been overreacting to the presidency of Donald Trump and what it means to journalism as a whole. After Stelter explained that the editor of the New Yorker told him that this is an emergency and that journalists have to act differently, Wolff dismissed it as the editor just being personally offended and upset.
While Wolff did admit that he is sucking up a bit in order to get access to the White House, he said he didnt necessarily know if he was going easy on the White House to gain that access.

Ofc Wolff was sucking up just to fool ppl like Bannon. It is amazing that anyone ever let Wolff near the White House, never mind that they did interviews with him.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Wolff was simply buying himself a ticket into the White House.
Attack Trump’s lying media, and the attacker automatically becomes a “friend”.
Gain access to the White House as a mole. The mole doesn’t get much direct info, and has to make up a lot in order to bring the liberals what they were willing to get at any expense.
Reliable Sources- thats funny
Oh my goodness yes it is, in a well past satire sort of a way.
Bannon let this scum into the White House. Screw Bannon Forever.
Looked like a dog and pony show between stelter and wolff from the start. They’d probably discussed and planned it together to ingratiate wolff to White House people and get his a** in the door.
Who was funding Wolff during his “research” period?
I doff my hat to your photo-editing skills :)
Thanks. Self-taught over the years.
