Controversial former Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Wednesday called former President Barack Obama's birth certificate a "phony document" in an interview on CNN.
"No doubt about it, we have the evidence, I'm not going to go into all the details, yeah, it's a phony document," Arpaio said on "Cuomo Primetime."
Arpaio announced Tuesday that he is running for the Arizona US Senate seat currently occupied by Sen. Jeff Flake, who is retiring from Congress at the end of his term.
He was a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump during the campaign, and was pardoned by the President in August. The former Maricopa County sheriff was convicted for defying a court order to stop racially profiling Latinos, and he has been widely criticized for his hard-line stances on immigration.
Arpaio has touted "birtherism" in the past, and, when speaking to CNN's Chris Cuomo on Wednesday evening, said he has proof that Obama's birth certificate is fake.
"We have the evidence, nobody will talk about it, nobody will look at it, and anytime you want to come down or anybody we'll be glad to show you the evidence," Arpaio said.
Cuomo pressed Arpaio again on the topic: "So you believe that President Obama's birth certificate is a phony?"
"No doubt about it," Arpaio said.

PS: There is only way to grasp the truth of who/what 0 is and is not:
FIRST empty the glass. Realize and admit “everything we have been told officially is nothing but damnable lies”.
Start from scratch, without clinging on to any “givens”. Give up the idea that his father is the Kenyan, that his mother is SAD, that he was born in the US, that he is a US citizen. Give it up all.
Start with a blank slate.

Blank Slate:
We have two little boys and we need to find their parents. They were photographed together when they were toddlers, one is a few months older than the other.
We can’t give them to just anyone who tries to claim them.
One showed up in Hawaii in 1963.
The other was visited by his father in Boston while his father was at Harvard until August 1964.
Once more. Mark was born in 1965. He claims to be the dark boy. Both images were from the same day. In his most recent book, Mark claims they were from 1971. In 1971, Mark would have been six years of age. How old do you think the dark boy is in that photograph? Two heading towards three?
Darker boy I’d guess no more than 3 to at most 3 1/2, lighter boy at most 2. It’s obvious they are not related or if so (which they aren’t at all, as we know), very distantly so. IMHO the darker boy is possibly a bit big for his age, more strongly built.
And of course the top photo is shopped to make the dark boy’s head unnaturally twisted in an anatomically impossible position.
Reminds me of how liars often embellish lies with unnecessary details, this is often a “tell”.
Now this photo is said to be from 1971, that is not a 6 or 7 year old boy in my view. Mark is trying to make it so the boy on the left can’t possibly be Zero. Darker boy doesn’t appear have Mark’s hairline, oddly enough....
Now imagine the other image of the same boy has HIS head tilted, and there's no reason to photoshop. It just looks peculiar. You're right, the motive was to make it seem it was impossible for zero to be zero...in 1971, zero would have been 10 years old.

Very few people lie successfully, especially many times, and with this much paraphenalia to deal with.
What Mark is trying to say in his latest book is, look at me, here I am, and sitting next to me is 'David' - but ' David' just happens to be the spitting image of zero when he was photographed in Hawaii wearing his University of Hawaii Tshirt when he was just old enough to be attending kindergarten...in 1966, before he was taken to Indonesia, when Mark who was born in 1965 was maybe one year old...so, someone help me out here, I don't want to be guilty of giving either of these children to the wrong claimants!
I think that each time they try to make good the lie and present another story to cover it, they make it worse...
Kind of like someone saying “Sorry I didn’t make it to the appointment. My car was rear ended, plus I ran out of gas, I lost my cell phone. And I felt as though I had the flu, my GPS didn’t work, and I lost your phone number. And I heard my mother was sick so I had to take care of her.”
from what I can see, this series of images speak for themselves.
The image in colour (found elsewhere)taken on the same day as the image following (from Mark's recent book) show the Kenyan with his hand on the should of his son, the dark boy, with Malik standing beside him, little Mark is in front with his head covered by a colourful hat.
In the second image Mark identifies the two boys as himself and 'David' - just as he did in the third image which shows the dark boy about five years old in 1966 when Mark was around one year old.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that child on the LEFT appears to be the same child three times, so it can't be 1970, the most it can be is 1966-1967.
The entire exercise was designed to persuade that the dark boy sitting beside zero was Mark, and the lighter boy was the mythical 'David'
WH57, this is going to be my final attempt. I know you are convinced zero was born in Kenya, but it just doesn't look that way.

The two younger boys in your first pic, and older girl in your second pic also appear on page 54 of Mark’s book, in the pic with the white man and woman.
Here we can see the younger of the two boys face.
And the older boy next to him has striped swim trunks, same as in the first and second pics you posted.
the boys and girls are the same kids as in the first and second pic, because the swimsuits match.
Right, and so it follows that Mrs Baker, Ruth's mother, is the woman looking over Mr Baker's shoulder, who has his hands on MARK'S shoulders.
Not necessarily. I often wondered about that. If that’s 1974, Mark would be nine years old. The younger boy resembles Simeon Ndesandjo, who might have been married before and had a child. Dark boy would be thirteen in 1974, he wasn’t related to Ruth. That might have been when he ‘went native’ and lived with Malik when they ‘were kids on the block together’ as Malik stated, when he spoke to Eric Bolling on that Fox Radio interview that was 48 minutes long and cut back to a few seconds.
The story is that Malik found ‘David’ begging in the streets of Nairobi and took him home...I can hardly imagine that any child in the care of Simeon and Ruth would become a street kid, but the son of the Kenyan born in 1961 that he brought home with him in 1964, and Malik could end up that way, when the Kenyan was down and out, living on handouts and sleeping on the couch of a friend. Apparently Auma, Kezia’s daughter, went to visit him at that time and said there was no food in the house.
After the divorce, Malik, Dark Boy and the Kenyan no longer had Ruth to support them.
That’s the best I can do with the information we have. What you can do now is search and see if you can identify the younger of those two boys from 1974. I’ve come to the end of my tether with their lies.
PS. I always meant to ask you, why are the images you provided from the book tinted yellow?
