The court shows it doesn’t trust the FBI or Justice Department’s representations about the infamous Comey memos. The court order tells the government to turn over the Comey memos for review by January 18 and rejects arguments by the Sessions Justice Department to dismiss the lawsuits.

1. Sessions is a meek, cowardly individual subservient to the DOJ Deep Staters on his staff.

Let me try! You could be absolutely correct that appearances are the reality.
However, if I’m Sessions and I have a bunch of swampers I need to remove, perhaps a good way to do that is let them think they have the upper hand, let them do what they want, giving them the rope they use to hang themselves.
I’m not sure why opposing this fits into that scheme.
The thing that does come to mind is if by being consistent in opposing all of these release lawsuits, the DOJ shows its consistency with the thinking that someday the swamp will be on the outside trying to peek into things that truly fall outside of FOIA.

I don’t take any account of the Grand Plan, it’s just Session’s misguided efforts to save his organization from meltdown and further scandal..
Sessions is just luring the corrupt FBI/DOJ in with his 5D chess moves.
He is making them think he is with them, when he is actually with us, but he can’t let US know. Then when we all think he is with them, he will investigate all of US just to prove to them that he really is one of THEM and both sides will be fooled! Then once they trust HIM, he will recuse himself from the whole thing and launch a Special Counsel to look into his own dealings. Then, feeling safe, the deep state FBI and intel community will feel like they can do whatever they want.
THAT is when they will make a wrong step and Sessions will deliver the 5000 sealed indictments and excute the arrest warrants with a secret team of Marines he’s been training all along!!
It’s sad that people can’t see what he’s really doing. And the whole idiot speech pattern like he’s sounding out words, and his sleepy act? That’s a disguise. As Charlie Daniels said in that song...He’s a mastermind in the ways of espionage!!
