Fans of the ancient rock band "Pink Floyd" may remember the iconic album cover from many decades ago (Animals) in which a giant inflatable pig was floating among the smokestacks of the large and imposing Battersea power plant.

This is the general vicinity in which the new U.S. embassy will be located. For those who know New York City, it would probably be the equivalent of a powerful nation building their embassy adjacent to the Ravenswood Generating Plant in Queens (just across the river near the 59th St Queensboro Bridge).

Below is the London location and below that is the power plant in NYC.

I saw that power plant on a bus ride from Portsmouth to London. After the Pink Floyd album came out it became a tourist attraction so the driver made sure to let us know about it.
