I got the Suburban version of that silverado (96 though) and it is great. To make sure it goes another 22 years, I had the garage replace all seals and gaskets etc this past summer. Love that cowboy limo!
I got my wife a ‘99 Tahoe back in 2001. Loved that vehicle, but I wound up trading it in for a new Suburban in 2005.
The wife.now drives a 2013 Silverado, but I do miss the wagons.
