yes. it is built by us to help us remember them.

and yes, imho the soldiers who fought and witnessed death firsthand are uniquely qualified to appreciate life and the living in all dimensions.

my father was a b-17 pilot. i contributed to the memorial, while he was still alive.

imho it makes no sense to building a memorial if no one comes to visit it.

You just build your Dead American Soldiers Fun Park.

You are defending desecration of a memorial to our honored war dead.

If you want Mexicans to come and piss on your dad’s grave then put out a flyer and advertise that you’re giving away free ice cream.

But not our national memorial.
