Reminds me of Puerto Rico where the local residents are sitting around and waiting for others to come in and clean up the mess from last year's hurricanes. We should sell that island away and send all Puerto Ricans packing with it. Do like the Brits when they gave up Hong Kong, stripped them of UK citizenship.
Completely concur. In my least diverse state in the union, when we suffer a natural disaster, people band together and clean the mess up without the need for help from the Feds. Playing a victim requires no intelligence.
Nah; kick everybody out and turn it into a gigantic military base, not in the military of the USA, out you go.

I fully agree with that!
While talking to a government official on the streets of Freetown, he began complaining about the dirt and trash everywhere in his city. Solutions and complaints came from him while he drank a plastic bag of water.
The second he finished the water, he wadded up the trash and threw it on the ground.
And never once batted an eye as he continued to complain about his trashy town.
