Virginia is a shall issue state with relatively easy requirements for getting a CHP and no local preemption. Given that he has received threats for this and other things he’s said, I’m surprised he doesn’t carry.
I kinda inferred he lived in the District. Is he VA?
If yes, then he likely just became a CCW advocate.
