Speaking of The Byrds, there was a great scene in the Petty documentary, where he was working on Roger McGuinn’s solo album, and he heard one of the songs that was written for him, and he proceeds to tear it to shreds, basically admonishing Roger for even considering to record such crap.
Too bad. I’ll have to see it for that scene. Petty was very good but I prefer the Byrds.
