Three decades in just one year! Should be at least a century by the end of the first term.

There was a sense I think, I was just a kid, that the problems were too big and crossed too many state lines to coordinate the best responses. And it’s true that most of the waterways looked like crud, there was considerable burning that went on. They said it wouldn’t do this and it wouldn’t do that and so they created it and it turned into every bit the monster that the conservatives had predicted it would be. They’re like the FBI a bit, or were. Outside the constitution, outside direct control. If only we could deconstruct the FBI the way Pruitt is deconstructing EPA. People would sleep better in their beds. What is the FBI for anyway? Investigating WHAT?

We had a school bus slide down a steep road in Seattle and jumped a short wall and was left hanging a 30-foot overpass. Luckily nobody was hurt. The city said they don’t use salt on the roads because of the environmental impact.

I was relating that to my 16-year old at the time.

Upon hearing that he replied: “What a bunch of idiots, Puget Sound is saltwater.”

Shortly after that accident they started using salt again.

Thank goodness! I live next to a seasonal brook which Obama’s EPA labeled a “waterway.” When it ran, it was perhaps 6 inches wide and 2 inches deep. I can now get rid of the life jackets and rescue boat I had to buy and store in my yard. Go, Trump!
