• Morning AB, All. As always, thank you AB for doing this thread so reliably and keeping the peace with gentle thread policing. Thank you Bray for weekly written wisdom, Thank all yon contributors for excellent commentary to flesh it all out. Thank you RG for your insight from investigations you do.

Today I am going to begin with my story of this past week and all the good things that happened to me. Not bragging, but I figure if I complain all the time bad things will happen all the time.

Stay with me as I will finish with just what exactly in that FISA memo plus my thoughts and opinions on it.

Just to keep it on topic.

Early this week I was shopping in a local grocery and as I went down the condiment I found a ten dollar bill crumbled on the floor. I picked it up, of course, and looked around. Had somebody rushed up to me and asked if I found the money I would have gladly turned it over. If someone somehow knew that bill was laying about it was probably theirs.

Last Weds. I took the Jeep Liberty to the DMV for bi-annual inspection from a bill put up by car mechanics. The Jeep is now 12 years old but it’s been garage kept and driven lightly. But it needed new windshield wipers and the tires were always going flat and I just knew the thing would fail.

Within five minutes the Jeep passed inspection and within a few more minutes I was in line and paid up for two years.

Out of there within 15 minutes and the Jeep is still working well!

So I go to doctor on Friday, my semi-annual checkup for having sludge for blood and old leaded iron blood vessels filled with placque to push it through. I have had a quadruple bypass ten years ago and this past year had two leg stents to put in.

Now I knew I’d lost weight. One knows if they lose weight over ten pounds and that’s where I figured I was at. Of course all the medicos tell me to lose weight because everyone needs to lose weight, right?

I never, ever, not in 50+ years, look or stand on a scale. I know it makes me a bit nuts but for so many years I’ve been obsessed with my weight so I tell the medicos weighing me not to tell me what it says, I don’t want to know.

Now the doc will, sometimes, mention I’d gained or lost a few pounds but I don’t want to talk about it at all.

So the doctor, the Cardio Vascular guy young enough to be my grandson and looking almost exactly like that Autistic kid doctor on the new show, walks in the office, slams down a pile of papers on his desk, smiles at me and says: “You lost 26 pounds”.

You could have knocked me over with a feather. Like I said, I knew I’d lost weight but wow, 26 pounds?

Also, my blood pressure came in at 113/63, all of my labs were great and truthfully folks that leg operation opened up the art of walking without pain for me and I feel pretty good. Doc was happy for my health.

Way I feel folks, I am the recipient of good American medicine. I’ve gotten good care, the most modern of tests and measurements. I think I pay entirely too much for my co-pay but I am good at self-discipline….self-control….IT’S FREE!

Finally, yesterday I drive in to the ATM drive thru. There was a car in front of me so I remain behind the line as indicated. The car drives off and I pull in front of the machine and there’s a $20 bill waving from the place where the money is delivered, snagged and about to go flying away.

Of course I grabbed it. I looked at the car who the money belonged as it pulled out onto the highway and roared down the road.

Now I suppose I could have taken the money inside the bank, turned it in. They could have checked the customer before me. But first, it didn’t occur to me and second, it would have been an ordeal to drive all around the bank, get out and leave the kitten, very, very bad kitten, in the car as I’d been bringing him home from the Vets.

Anyway, I held on to the $20 and now it is mine.

I scratch my head over last week but at least I know that life can be sparkling with pleasant surprises.

Now about this FISA warrant.

Barack Obama’s name is on the FISA memo, that’s the biggest piece of news.

Of course I don’t know this. I speculate.

But there’s the big debate. Do we destroy the reputation of America’s first elected black president?

This is why everyone, including Jeff Sessions, is mum about so much of this.

They don’t want to sully or cast aspersions upon America’s first President of color, he with perfectly creased pants, a smooth voice, handsome and will lie without blinking an eye.

Anyway, that’s my theory on the FISA memo.

It makes Obama part of all the cheating on American citizens but we all know that the Obama administration paid no attention to rules.

Obama is a wreck historically with or without our help.

I had the fortune of finding $26 doing laundry, used some of that to have a wonderful breakfast Sat morning.

Healthcare is a joke now.

All my tests are smack in the middle, except my heartrate is high because the drugs for the COPD do that, so now there is a new drug.

They have taken Cat scans MRIs and a gazillion looks at my lungs over the past 15 years, why did they never notice the damage until it became critical?

My days wrestling Lions are over LOL
Gosh I hope I can still talk to girls /s

Glad to hear the good news...

I’ll make you feel better about Obama...

He’s not the first president being person of color,
...
“They don’t want to sully or cast aspersions upon America’s first President of color, he with perfectly creased pants, a smooth voice, handsome and will lie without blinking an eye.”

Instead, as a foreign, orchestrated plant much akin to Manchurian candidate, he has a white mom, is foreign born, and unlike most blacks in this country, his family lineage has zero slavery ancestry...so he has no struggle experience...so when you here him called, zero, there is even one more reason to do so.

Glad to help!

Since they've been looking for anything to do besides investigate the top echelons of the last administration...that knock at your door.....Officer O'Mally of the FBI.

Getting an extra $20 from the bank reminded me of what happened to me a few years ago.

On a Friday afternoon, at the drive through, I cashed a check. I didn’t count the money right away. By Monday I finally did. Mixed in with the twenties there was a $50 bill!! So I drove over to the same drive-up window and asked if she had balanced out the past week. She said, “No. I was $30 short.” So I handed her the $30.

Her response: “Oh darn. Now my drawer is going to be off again!”

No good deed goes unpunished.
