CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham Middle School mother, Libby Hilsenrath, is the plaintiff, along with her minor child, in a federal lawsuit filed on Tuesday that names The School District of the Chathams, the Board of Education, the Chatham Middle School principal and teachers as defendants, claiming a violation of constitutional rights.
Hilsenrath's issue with the school district first came up in public when she questioned the emphasis on the teaching of Islam in a "World Cultures and Geography Class" at the Feb. 6, 2017 Chatham Board of Education meeting.
The suit was filed in New Jersey district court on behalf of Hilsenrath and her minor child by the Thomas More Law Center, a non-profit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Mich. A study of Persian Art would be in order. Prior to the conquest by Islam, it was on par or even superior to anything produced by Ancient Greece or Rome. A century or so afterward, not even in the same league.
This stuff is defended, I presume, by some of the same people who still think Christians have some sort of undue influence over American culture...

Kids SHOULD be taught about Islam. But, I'm guessing the head-chopping, cage-burning, female parts slicing/dicing, and honor killings are conveniently left out.
One could argue such subjugation is exactly what is obviously happening this very day to proud and (relatively) advanced and cultured people living in distant locations around the world.
I wonder how long the school district has been teaching this class and how many students have taken the class before and after these two mothers with “Sharia Fever”, who have been egged on by Tucker Carlson, decided that the school board was trying to recruit their 2 children into Islam.

They had just had a major war with the Byzantine Empire that left them drained. This was followed by civil unrest.

Then the teacher also gives another youtube video of Martin Sheen in the West Wing berating a teacher who mentions Leviticus and homosexuality, and then he compares it to all the other crimes punishable by death in the Old Testament, as if to say the prohibition against homosexuality is equally strange. Yet nothing mocking of Islam is posted, and THEY ARE THE ONES THROWING HOMOSEXUALS OFF BUILDINGS RIGHT NOW! That is the classic liberal-progressive hypocrisy on display.
As the muslim population grows unfettered we will see the scale tip in their favor and no matter what you do or say you are a racist bigot and nothing will come of it and they will have their way.
I saw that episode. It was one of the most hate-filled attacks on Christianity I have seen on a TV program.
Martin Sheen's character was so self righteous about supposedly trapping and humiliating the teacher, by quoting selected verses of the Old Testament.
I realized at that moment that Martin Sheen and the writers of that show have no clue that Jesus Christ came to fulfill the Law of Moses (Matthew 5:17) and to establish the New Covenant.
Great...someone is fighting back...if Christianity can’t be in the school, why should Islam...?
