After listening to Trump at Davos over the last two days, I think the EU will probably tell Abbas to piss off and gravitate towards Trump. Everyone moving towards Trump is making money.

Aside from the French, who still think that countries who sign the Paris Accords will wind up buying nuclear technology from France, most of these countries want to do business with the US. And if fairness is the only drawback to all of this, they will take that over a total train wreck.
