Back in about 1986, when I was single, a friend set me up on a blind date. We made a foursome: my friend and her boyfriend, a friend of the boyfriend and me. We all went to dinner, and this fellow (Ill call him John, since I cant remember his name) and I attempted polite chitchat.
We had the usual banter of background and mutual-interest inquiries; and while John was a perfectly nice fellow, it became apparent we had very little in common. We dated once or twice more, then wished each other a pleasant life and went our separate ways.
Dating strategies, it seems, have changed a whole lot since I was in the dating game. Gone are the days when you found out if you were compatible in such critical areas as faith, family and finances. Modern women, particularly feminists, dont want to leave anything to chance.
I stumbled upon a website recently with dating strategies for the politically correct woman. The author appears quite serious on using these questions on the first date to weed out unsuitable candidates.

Men don't hate women, dahling... they just don't like women like you.
I wish I'd known about women like you back when I was dating age. I mean, I'd heard the older guys complaining about nags and b*tches, but I never met any as bitter and controlling as you seem to be.
Of course, they were probably younger and prettier than you are now. I think that's got a lot to do with feminism, right? Did ya hit the wall, hon? Oh yeah, you were dating in 1986, so... that's quite a dry spell, that'd make anybody a little bitter, huh?
As I advised my nephew yesterday, "don't get emotionally involved with any woman until you meet one who is worthy of bearing your children, and when you do meet her, marry her. But no feminists please, you want to be happy."
Except for the fact that you hail from California, I could date you based upon your interesting note!
Freudian slip there, eh? ;)
i have 3 pickups no car.
except for the weather because a love affair is great at todays 78 degrees... ;)
Show up for the date wearing a “Make America Great” hat. That way you’ll know before you even sit down and can avoid all the silly questions.
Don’t forget to run up a good bar tab before you do.
I mean, hey we’re all equal right?
It just your turn to pay, I’ll get it next time

+1. Good answer.
“...theyre trying to weirdify normality.”
Weirdify. I will seek out an opportunity to use that in a conversation as soon as possible. Thanks.
Two nephews both at Rutgers U. say the girls on campus these days are so out-of-control they want nothing to do with them - they’re home whenever possible to keep in touch with the locals who are much more to their liking.....
Those are the worst questions ever. It sounds like she’s interviewing someone to take part in a protest, not for a date.
Ain’t you glad most of us don’t have to worry ever again about dating?

Amen!!!!!
I kind of support the actor or athlete a few years back who was being chastised for ‘dating’ hookers.
His explanation really makes a lot of sense.
I don’t want a commitment.
I am ok with myself.
I don’t want a family.
If I go on a regular ‘date’ there is a 20% chance it will turn out to be sexual. (I am being generous)
If I call a Prostitute, she is available to ME for the allotted time, no dinner, no drinks, no small talk, just get down to business.
When time is up, she leaves and I don’t have to worry about calling her in the morning or drop ins or her being jealous of my coworkers and casual acquaintances.
(ABOVE is a general synopsis of what was put out and I enhanced it...the gist is correct).
Not only that, today how sure sure are you that you’re not out with a transformer? Scary. LOL!
Thanks for the help folks. Looks like I failed them all.
