The media’s response to the release of the Nunes memo surpasses the level of Pravda covering a Soviet show trial. No sooner had the memo appeared than journalists immediately began throwing sand into their audience’s eyes. The story, according to the media, is not that Obama’s Justice Department/FBI snookered FISA court judges and used Hillary’s purchased Steele dossier to spy on Trumpworld. No, the scandal is that the evil Republicans exposed this outrage, and that Trump, the ultimate target of this espionage, has the gall to defend himself. How dare a defendant in our kangaroo trial defend himself with the truth — that’s the upshot of all the media’s bleating.
All you can do is laugh at the intensity of the gibbering propaganda and misdirection, which is nothing more than the rage of a ruling class nabbed in an audacious act of political espionage. Katy Tur of MSNBC summed up the bewilderment of the ruling class perfectly: “None of this is normal.” In other words, we expose Republicans; they don’t expose us.
“None of this is normal” is what monopolists say when it dawns on them that they are losing their monopoly. Naturally, the blatant abnormalities of Obamagate didn’t interest Tur, which the memo devastatingly captures:
(A) Neither the initial application in October 2016, nor any of the renewals, disclose or reference the role of the DNC, Clinton campaign, or any party/campaign in funding Steele’s efforts, even though the political origins of the Steele dossier were then known to senior DOJ and FBI officials.

That this entire “circus” ever happened in this country is what totally upsets me. In my 80+ years I never would have expected something like this to happen but then, we do have a party of whiney liberals and fake news media. The next thing that will put me over the top is when NONE, or damn few of the A-holes will ever see the inside of a prison. What happened to the country I grew up in, went to fight for and has been allowed to turn into a third world “sh&t hole”? Disgraceful!
I think the weaponizing of the FBI, IRS, et al probably has its roots 25 years ago during the Presidency of Bill Clinton and was most likely started by one Hillary Rodham Clinton.
It started with 900 FBI files and the same group of underlings with the same aspirations back in 1992.

The question remains: Exactly what are WE prepared to do about it?
The actions of the Democrats and corrupt government officials at highest levels constitute a fundamental subversion of democracy light years beyond vote counting high jinks at local level. This was a centrally coordinated attempt to overturn a legitimate election.
We are all pleased that the plot has been exposed but beyond our justifiable shock and rage it’s also sobering to note that it requires a very wealthy man to have a prayer of standing up to the swamp, even as he takes his place as its lawful chief executive. Even with his resources and private security, he was forced to abandon his own dwelling and offices in his own Manhattan building due to Soviet/Chinese style spying and flee to NJ and FL properties after one rare honest government official warned him - and the official was targeted for destruction after.
An honest politician of modest means eg a Scott Walker would have been stuck in a hotel or government office building as he awaited the election or inauguration with the Obamaites listening in on every last word.
