There is simply NO WAY that the vast majority of Republicans will side with Schumer on Amnesty - even if they want to, they know it’s political suicide.

A majority won’t have to. the Rats have 49 Senators they will probably get 10 rinos the deal passes easily. Trump has shown no inclination to veto but we’ll see.

I worded my comment bad. But the bottom line is that they’re not going to double-cross Trump. Not even the minority that’s needed to override him. The Republicans may be ‘globalists’, but the vast majority do want to keep their seats. They had 8 YEARS to team up with Obama to pass Amnesty, when far fewer Republican votes were needed - they won’t do it over Trump’s veto.

My only worry has been where Trump would wind up on this, since he has expressed ‘concern’ for the DACA bunch. But so far, his position is fine with me.
