1) How does he know? What information is he privy to as a retired gov’t employee that we aren’t - as specifically regards THIS ISSUE?
2) OK, so let’s say that the Russians DID meddle in the election (hardly a stretch, countries do that all the time, including us in AT LEAST Israel’s elections on multiple occasions). The real question isn’t whether they meddled, but the effect of such meddling. How many votes did they actually change - and in which direction?
3) IMHO, if Russia meddled, it would have been in favor of Hillary who, after all, wasn’t planning to beef up our military, and who wasn’t planning to drill for oil like crazy. IOW, it would have been very much in Russia’s interest for Hillary to win, not Trump. Oh, yeah, and before I forget: Russia also likely had detailed records of exactly what happened in the Uranium One affair, especially including who paid what to whom. That would have been something that they could have held over her head to influence policy - and there is no such information regarding Trump.
So, to make a long story short: Hey, President Bush - we liked it better when you stayed quiet and enjoyed your retirement.

But it appears the the Russians and Clinton, Inc. might have worked closely together.
For 8 straight years, W stayed silent as the obam blamed him for EVERY problem and shortcoming. Now he finds his voice.
