I always wanted Clive Owen to be bond, but I would not mind if Idris Elbe got the role especially if her dropped about 15 pounds. All the catterwallowing on both sides about this stuff is nonsense. The problem with the schools is then school board and the principals and they re elected by the parents. you get what you deserve when there is a vote.

in one of the first James Bond novels, he is said to be the son of a Scottish Laird and an "Oriental" mother. Then later he is positioned as a quintessential englishman.
And he's been played by Scots, Irish, Welsh (Dalton).
i think a black James Bond would be perfectly fine - if it was someone of the calibre of Idris Alba playing the role.
A woman wouldn't make sense to play the philandering Bond. Perhaps a parallel series with Ms. Moneypenny would be better.
