When ABC had the games, Peter Jennings would have some interesting facts about each country in the parade of nations....Bryant Gumbel couldn’t seem to duplicate that, and Bob Costas couldn’t resist making stupid jokes. It looks like NBC tried to contract it out, and still couldn’t get it right.
