Oh? What about Hancock? What about Blade? What about Steel? (Okay, forget Steel: the movie was terrible. Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t act his way out of a wet paper bag.) But what about Spawn? What about Catwoman? Doesn’t Halle Berry get extra credit for being both black and a woman?

Hancock was great.

Of course, the fact that he was black was immaterial. He just happened to be black, and they didn't act like it was a big deal. Amazing what happens when skin color is treated as unimportant.
